Flower Photos: Red Powderpuff

These photos were taken, yesterday on Miyagi Island.

The plant's scientific name is Calliandra haematocephala.

These bright red flowers are blooming not far from my office, on one of the back streets, too.

flowers, Red Powderpuff, leaves

The wife and I, spotted them on the way to the doctor, the other day.

It's always best to go somewhere else and shoot flowers in people's yards.

That's because, sometimes I have to climb fences or, lay on the ground to compose my shots.

People might think you're crazy when they see what you're doing.

It's alright, if you act like a nut someplace where nobody knows you.

But, you really shouldn't do crazy stuff in your hometown.

They should make that the 11th Commandment.  Dontcha think ?
