Just looking at this photo, Rufus reminds me of my German Sheppard that I had growing up name Rex. I loved that dog. It has been thirty years and I still talk about him, he was like a protective brother to me. I was an only child. I would take him with me trick or treating and I was safe. My dad use to take Rex to Burger King with him and order both of them, a whopper, fries, and strawberry milk shake and he loved it.Tonya Keitt Kalulehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12029291764482086118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3603293883718966986.post-8555228854041494222010-02-13T18:10:34.238-08:002010-02-13T18:10:34.238-08:00Rose,

I know he's been wanting to hit the public for a long time now and it's nice to see him in the spotlight as opposed to the cute one! Excellent story, too! Rufus is a good dog. If only my pup wasn't so annoyed by the little barking fluff ball maybe she would give Rufus a chance and get along better!
A series on "How to Shoot Your Pets" may be a good one for average family shots with tips no one ever thinks about!Rosehttp://samayoumeigui.ning.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3603293883718966986.post-15551574573086554212010-02-12T15:54:12.288-08:002010-02-12T15:54:12.288-08:00Sabina, Sophie, Audrey and Nick,

I think this is one of your best pieces ever. And the story itself is great. (publication time?) I'm so glad you got your poor dog back. Thank God your son spotted him.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3603293883718966986.post-24439373424633030812010-02-12T01:31:57.038-08:002010-02-12T01:31:57.038-08:00Neha,

Very poignantly written too. Your writing reminded me a lot about how Jim Corbett wrote about the special bonding and relationship that he shared with his long-time companion ‘Robin'. What I am curious to know is why have you named him 'Rufus' ? Secondly, I would very much like to see a full Rufus to get a handle on his size.
Regards,
SumitranSumitranhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10121075598333006287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3603293883718966986.post-75228662050931900342010-02-11T18:54:28.779-08:002010-02-11T18:54:28.779-08:00Lilypond,
