World Oceans Day 2011 Why Should We Care?

Our Grandchildren need the oceans

Our Nephews need the oceans

Our Wildlife need the oceans

We should care for the oceans on World Oceans Day June 8th, 2011 and everyday from now on because we all need the oceans.

    I didn't realize it was World Ocean's Day, but glad there is such a day. As a diver, I feel priveledged to have seen up close just how amazing our oceans and ocean creatures are.

    Expat in Germany,
    Thr World Oceans Day kinda snuck-up on me, too. I love the ocean; walk to the beach daily, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day with my dogs and camera. People really abuse the beaches, I think so, I try to go to remote areas. Still wind up picking up trash from a lot of them. Everyday is ocean day to me!
