Flower (Photo) Iris: The Old and The New

Here is a photo taken at the Iris Festival in Okinawa, Japan April 9th 2011 using a Pentax K10D with a Manfrotto 725B Tripod, Cable Release and an 18-250mm Pentax Lens at a focal length of 85mm.

    You hit a sweet spot again with purple irises. Nicely done -- like the "old and the new".

    Aw, you're sweet. There are a few hundred more waiting for me to develop them and now, the wife wants me to take her up there, too.

    Guess I'll be doing Iris shots for awhile longer. Glad you enjoy them!
