RyukyuMike's Favorite Facebook Shares of the Week

Here are Five Facebook Shares from the 1st Week of March 2013

Not everybody gets along, as well as I do, with the Zuckerberganator.

For those poor souls, I'll post a few teasers here.

That way, if they don't have a Facebook account, they'll start thinking about getting one.

There are lots of things I share over there but, these five are special.

From Amy Chavez, who I must give credit for teaching me about plastic grass in my bento:

The Thinnest Latex Condom and Other World Records Held by Japan

Don Cartwright, I don't really know but, he posted this video that tickled me:

It's supposed to be about gun control, I'm guessing.

Mommy Cracked, changed her name to Read, Write, Mom but I like her old handle best

because she finds stuff like:

Splice Today, I read something over there every day but, not like this one:

Last but, not least, Chris Willson Photography added my mugshot to:

The Wild Bunch

Photo: A September 2012 Favorite from a Shinigu

The photos from this event called a Shinigu are almost, all developed.

Just a few dozen more to look at and I'll be ready to go back to visit the ladies of Gushiken.

I'll print a couple and give them to the folks in the village office.

Then, find out if they have internet capability to enable everyone to view the rest online.

This photo is one I'll print.  It's my favorite.

I had to jump off a dang water tower to catch the gals with the ocean in the background !

Favorite Photo from the Weekend

Saturday night we went to a bar called the Doghouse.

It's a good idea, when you are supposed to be a cameraman, to not drink.

Well, I figured one beer wouldn't hurt and ordered a draft of Orion.

The girl tending bar wouldn't let me pay.

Probably the boss told her my drinks were on the house.

Free beer always tastes better.

So, I had a lot.

The problem I have now is, I don't know the band's name, or anybody's name in the band.

All I remember is they played this song real good.

It went something like this:

NYTNYTNYN- NYTNYTNYN-NYTNYTNYN

NYTNYTNYN- NYTNYTNYN-NYTNYTNYN-NYTNYTNYN

NYTNYTNYN- NYTNYTNYN-NYTNYTNYN

NYTNYTNYN- NYTNYTNYN

That's the guitar noises I heard.

The words were something about Smoke on the Water.

That band was good and so was the beer.

The song stuck in my head, way after all the beer bubbles were gone.

But, I'm not all that good at remembering words.

I just go around making the guitar noises.

NYTNYTNYN- NYTNYTNYN-NYTNYTNYN

NYTNYTNYN- NYTNYTNYN-NYTNYTNYN-NYTNYTNYN

NYTNYTNYN- NYTNYTNYN-NYTNYTNYN

NYTNYTNYN- NYTNYTNYN

Next time the Doghouse is open, I'll go back and get the band's name for you.

Meanwhile, you could LISTEN TO THIS BAND, they ain't too shabby, either.

PHOTO: TWO CHARACTERS

ONE OF MY FAVORITES FROM THE EISA FESTIVAL LAST SUNDAY IS THIS PHOTO.

JUST ONE MORE BATCH OF PICTURES TO DEVELOP AND I'M DONE.

POOR COMPUTER'S OVERHEATING WITH ALL THE WORK I'VE BEEN GIVING IT.

TIME TO LET IT REST WHILE I GO HOME AND TAKE A POWER NAP.
