The sabani photo was placed at the top of the pile because it was made vertically.

Some folks call that portrait style and, usually, I don't shoot that way.

That's mostly because I'm not a portrait type of photographer.

Travel Photo of the Week: Goat Fights at Katsuyama

There is a festival going on this weekend at Mt. Katsuyama in Okinawa, Japan.

The name of the event is the Shiikuwasa Flower Matsuri but, I went to shoot the goat fights.

A couple of other things happened while I was there trying to compose these photos.

The idea, was to get Mt. Katsuyama in the background.

That's a fairly tricky thing to do.  I almost had to get in the ring with the goats.

It turned out to be a great day and over 400 more photos are waiting development.

Camera batteries need charging and some beer stuff needs to be done.

So, I'm outta here for the day !

Some hilarious things happened at the Sesoko Island goat fights Sunday.

There will be a story about goat fights in Okinawa, Japan one of these days.

Meanwhile, I thought I'd share this photo.

One goat leaped, like a kangaroo, while the other one just shook his beard.

All I could imagine was, he must have been thinking, "Let's get it on, Bubba" !

There are things like, a kayak event, some camping, karaoke singing, beer drinking and

Goat Fights, I have to attend !
