Bird Image: Grey Wagtail (Motacilla cinera)

Bright Yellow Eye Stripe

The big stripe made this one a little tough to identify but, we'll call it a Grey Wagtail.

There are several types of bird, in the Motacilla family and, they are easy to confuse.

If some bird expert, comes along with a better ID, I will gladly, correct this one.

This Grey Wagtail posed on a fencepost in Okinawa, Japan.

The Motacilla cinera doesn't stay still for too long.

Both photos of this bird were taken in Kin Town at 9:15AM March 13, 2013.

A minute later, the wagtail was gone.
