Don't panic. The moon isn't going anywhere. The lights don't even go out.
The word first came to me from my buddy at CosmoBC, an Astronomy Dude.
Most of the travelers I know will be in a country where this event is visible.
Just make sure you have a tripod handy for your camera.
And pray for clear skies.
That's why I'm calling this a Travel Alert.
Some of my best friends happen to be lunatics and might want to get out with their cameras to shoot some impossible photos.

Not sure we're going to see that down here.
Very beautiful :)
Jim,
One of my sources above listed all the countrirss it should be visible. Fairly sure down your way it'll e possible. That's if it isn't cloudy or raining like today's weather.
Muza-chan. Thanks. I hope you try shootin' the real deal when it happens.
Great shot and thanks for the heads up.
Laurel,
Your welcome and I hope you capture some great shots, too.
Very cool moon shot, Mike :)
Sophie,
Thanks and hope we all get to see the big event this weekend!
Nice moon shot!
InsideJournies,
Thanks and I hope you get to enjoy this coming weekend, as well.
Not sure it will be visible from the city. Too many tall buildings here. I usually joke that Valencia only has one star. I could never spot more than one. anyways :)
Laura,
The trick would be to gain access to the top of one of those tall buildings. That'd get you closer to the action with your camera!
I'll be on a 28-hour bus ride, so I won't have anything else to do but stare out the window and hope to see this :-)
Stunning shot Mike. Calling for cloud here tonight and cold, so I think I'll probably be enjoying your photos tomorrow...haha.
Nancie,
Thanks. We may have the same weather here but, I'll give it a try. Ya never know. Wish me luck !

Whoa, that's a long bus ride!
You'll get to see two moon rises, I bet.
