Travel Photo: Fall Foliage

Just Some Red and Green

There aren't really four seasons way down south in Japan if, you ask me.

Unless you look at it the way some people do.

There's Hot, Hotter, Rainy Season and, sometimes, It doesn't rain for a long time.

So, we have three seasons and, when it doesn't rain for a long time maybe, four.

Walking town to the ocean, to shoot the full moon, I spotted these leaves.

It sort of reminded me of Autumn where I lived many moons ago.

So, I figured it would be a good idea to take this shot and, call it my Autumn Foliage Photo.

Early September: A Firey Sunrise

Okukubi River, sunrise, ocean, sky

We don't get the bright colors of Autumn foliage on this island.

Year round, things are mostly green.

If you're out before sunrise, you may catch scenes like this, looking out towards the horizon.

Something told me, to get outside early today and, I'm glad that I did.

This photo was taken three minutes before sunrise.
