Back to Ada

A quick post before I forget. Last Saturday I got to go back to Ada Kunigami Okinawa; the place where I shot the Shinugu Matsuri Photos and damn-near lost over a hundred photos by deleting in-camera.

Anyway, this trip paid off big time. Got a picture of a live wild boar and all kinds of good stuff.

Made some great contacts, got model releases signed, so I can't be sued for using peoples photos and maybe, even have aplace to sleep the next time I go on a 2 day shoot up in the mountains and beaches of northern Okinawa.

Great photo Mike! how did you get so close? Were you using a 500mm telephoto for that?

Wouldnta used the 500mm if I had it. It was with my 18-250@65mm/Handheld/Camera Flash

f/9 1/180 ISO 100 and Spotmetered

Ya see, truth be known, the poor feller's name is Tonkatsu and he was in a covered pen and camera shy. I hadda hang my over the fence and guess where he was gonna run to next before firing. It was pretty WILD for me, so, I called him a Wild Boar !

Didja CLICK on my You Live Near Okinawa Gadget by any chance?

Couldn't use the viewfinder. That space was left blank intentionally. More coffee....
