Drink of the Week: Suntory CC Lemon

can of lemon drink containing equivalent of 50 lemons worth vitamin C

Here's a Little Secret

In an attempt to get back into mountain climbing shape, here's what I did.

See that can up there ?  Well, I replaced my beer drinking with that stuff.

They say there is 50 lemons worth of vitamin C, in each can.

Over the past two weeks, I consumed lots of them.

Oh, I did a little climbing, too.

That's a big can of juice.  There's 500 milliliters, in each can.

And, you can buy 4 or 5 cans for the cost of one beer !

Don't worry, I won't let the Orion Beer Company go broke.

As soon as I get my mountain climbing out of the way, I'll switch back to beer.

Because, I'm kind of shy, I can't chase young women, until after I have a few.

Over at Suntory's site, I couldn't find much, in English about this product for you.

It beats me, how they get so many lemons in one can.

It's almost guaranteed, I won't catch a cold when I go up the mountain.

There's way over 500 lemons worth of vitamin C, pumping through my veins.

If that stuff doesn't work, maybe, I'll try what Bill Murray does.

He says, "For relaxing times, make it Suntory."

But, I think he's talking about whiskey !

Off the Beaten Path to a Ritual in a Cave (Photo Essay)

10 More Photos from the Cave Tour

Little known cultural events of this sort are becoming popular.

Travel and tourism connections, along with newsletters, keep me informed.

Toguchi Sensei, the spiritual leader of this event, knows it as well.

When we first discovered, this ritual, it was performed, only once a year.

Tourist maps and markers, may have helped Sururu Gama become popular.

Or, it could just be word of mouth, that brought about increased interest in the event.

To accommodate the number of visitors, four cave tours have been scheduled this year.

It's a good idea, to see what you're getting into before going on one of these pilgrimages.

It isn't exactly like a Sunday drive to church.

Getting to and from, the sea level cave, takes a bit of hiking and rock climbing.

Visits are made during low tide and, you crawl, to get in there.

Here's a view of a heart-shaped hole in a rock, just outside the cave.

At half tide, this and the cave would be invisible unless, you are a diver or, snorkeler.

The cave will hold about 50 guests before becoming overcrowded.

Candles and some natural light help you navigate the interior.

Editor's Picks (Photos) for the Month of March 2014

One Flower -- One Person -- One Bird

With half the month spent indoors, due to foul weather,  there won't be any complaints.

Things should be warming considerably and we'll be hitting the trails more often.

There are some exciting photo shoots, lined up in the upcoming weeks and months.

Here are the latest images selected by the judges in the photo contest for March.

Okinawan Style Campaigning in the Rain: A Short Photo Essay

In Case You Haven't Already Guessed

Whoever designed me, didn't put any political bones in my body.

Last night, on the way home, I was invited to this political event and said "OK."

There wasn't anything important on my schedule so, I agreed to go, if the weather was nice.

election,campaign,rain,politics,humor

It turned out to be, a not so nice day.

But the people out there being supportive, impressed me so, I went and got wet, too.

Backing up a bit off the highway, seemed like a good idea.

The participants were all happy, waving and smiling at every passing vehicle.

There was hootin' and hollerin' accompanied by a live band.

election campaign activity

It made you feel like dancing in the rain.

So, that's what a bunch of people started to do.

That got me thinking.

The next time some pretty girl invites me to an electoral campaign in the rain.....

...the best thing to do, would be, leave the damn cameras at home !
