Then and Now Photos: Shureimon (守礼門) a Torii in Okinawa

This photo of Shureimon ( 守礼門 ) often called the Shuri Castle Gate, was taken in the 1960's.

The original color print was excellent but, aged over tome the color slides become corroded and deteriorate. Good reason to digital scan, everything.

That's exactly what happened and the reason I chose to go B&W for this.
Once those old photos get beyond a certain point, there's no way to make them look presentable.
