UNESCO Zakimi Castle in Okinawa, Japan (Photo)
One of the five UNESCO World Heritage Castle Sites in Okinawa, Japan, Zakimi-Jo is located along the west coast of the island. It differs from all the other castles in that it is constructed on red clay footings rather than limestone mountains seen at all the other locations.
