Plant and Flower Photos: Cobra Lily
The flower is shaped like an antique samuri stirrup used on warriors saddles.
In the Western world, it is said, to resemble a cobra snake, poised to strike.
The plants grow well in moist forest soil and, are found in China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
This one, I should take a marker pen and, draw some eyes on for you.
It's potted in a planter at a shaded spot of the wife's garden and, I shot it with the Canon G12.
This plant was purchased at the Natural Stone Garden in Motobu, Okinawa.
