Early Morning on Izena Island
If there's anything good about a typhoon coming, I know what it might be.
It keeps me indoors and, I get caught-up on photo processing.
The series of images, in this GIF were taken August 30, 2014 at about 6:30AM.
There are a few hundred more photos from my trip to Izena, I haven't even looked at, yet.
And, those, I looked at today, have me planning to revisit that island.
As soon as the weather calms down a bit plans will be made to hop back on a ferry.
Super Typhoon Vongfong
It sounds like it may be a real doozie but, Okinawa won't get the worst of it.
From what, I've seen, the storm won't be a direct hit on this island.
Plenty of rain and strong breezes are likely for this area.
It's a good idea to stay close to home and far from the seashores.
Anybody who likes to see the waves, crashing ashore, should do what I plan on doing.
Go to a bar, order something to drink and, watch the action on TV !
