Not sure if it's the internet or gremlins gnawing away inside my computers today but, it feels like I'm back in the Stone Age the way these things are acting-up.
Hopefully, I'll be able to paste a link for TRAVEL PHOTO THURSDAY before everything comes crashing down around me !

I love door shots, and this is an excellent POV.
Thanks for posting at Travel Photo Thursday.
LadyE,
Thanks. This is one of the few times I allow myself to break the
Rule of Thirds.
Ahahahaha! Back to stone age huh! Your picture is astonishingly clear and brilliant as always... Cheers!
Great shot given the lighting...
As has been said, door shots are great. So intruiging and the mind can be lead to believe anything is awaiting....
Jim,
Thanks for dropping in. Bet you'd have a blast getting lost inside this one with your camera!
Doc,
If I remember correctly, we were both there the day I took this shot. The lousy weather in the sky was what prompted me to crop it out and zoom-in on this one!
Jorie,
Thank you. It'll be just like the Stone Age if I start throwin' rocks at the internet provider !
Beautiful photo, I like the composition.
A door to another world - love the fact that the picture draws you in and makes you curious about what lies beyond.
Nice shot! I love the framing of the door in the center. Great color and contrast too!
Oh, your photo makes me sigh! I'd just like to walk through that door and see this place.
Muza-chan,
Thanks. We don't have all the Temples and Shrines you shoot, down my way but, Castles, there's plenty here!
Leigh,
Good eye. There's plenty to see beyond that door.
Strux,
Thanks. Normally, I go for the Rule of Thirds but, on this shot I decided since it was symmetrical enough, I'd go for centering and use some depth of field to invite folks in.
Cathy,
We have five UNESCO Castles here but, what many people don't know, there are probably 150 more in ruins or partially destroyed during the war. Okinawa is a castle buff's delight!
