The Black-winged Stilts are just visitors during, the winter, to Okinawa, Japan. Sometime this month, they'll depart, if they haven't already. It's Friday here and I'll be out with the camera all weekend to see what migratory birds we have left.

Seems like Okinawa is a hot-spot for bird watchers, great shot Mike.
Ryan,
Yup, it's a great spot. I'll bet Scotland is too. That's if ya get the time to hang out like I do.
Sweet shot... very nice capture (and it's shots like these that make all the work worth it - not that we really get to see all the hours that go into it). Well done.
AdelaideBen,
Thanks. The hours that go into it are pure joy. I sometimes wish that's all I had to do; hang around outdoors!
