Remember that Johnny Cash tune I was always singin' bout kickin and a' gougin in the mud and the blood and the beer?
Boy Named Sue, er somethin' like that.
Well they got this company named SU and folks around the world are all riled up.
Don't ask me what it's all about, I'm just packin my bag in case they need to interview me.
While I get the camera bag ready would you fold my stuff carefully so it don't get wrinkled ?
It'll all fit right next to my shootin stuff. I like to travel light. There's a stain on the tie but, if I make a fancy knot, nobody will probably notice.
What I plan on doin is make a suggestion to them. Like, they could do what they call
GRANDFATHER PEOPLE.
Some fifteen million people are in the SU Thing and they don't want any changes.
GRANDFATHER THE OLD TIMERS
Maybe the company wants money er somethin like that. Who knows ?
So, I was thinkina tellin them to go ahead and charge new members somethin.
Maybe, two bits a month, or $ 5.99 if they sign up for a whole year, just in case there's any cheapskates out there. Hah !
JUST GRANDFATHER OLD TIMERS. YEA.
They may like my idea. So, I want to be ready to travel if I gotta get interviewed.
Heck, if a few million more people like my idea the SU company might not even need to interview me and I could be their Grandpaw SU, pick up some spare change.
And stay right here
Kickin and a' gougin in the mud and the blood and the beer !

A lot of people very unhappy at SU at the moment before they even know the details of the changes. I'll wait and see what happens before I make any rash decisions.
Ryan,
Rash decisions! You been out chasin squirrels , again?
The folks who invested a lot of time building a fancy blog, I can see them being upset. It's like they were given some tools to develop fancy pages. And that's what they did. A big plus for SU and it probably had something to do with attracting some of those 15 million fans.
Those folks have their hard work taken away, I think, they are going to split. Plenty of them have become good friends of mine. I hope SU management listens to them and doesn't go the way MySpace and a few others did.
Back to the rash decisions. This pink stuff called Calamine Lotion seems to work pretty good. I even put it on my Huskies.
Are you talking about Stumble Upon? When I went to google it, I didn't find anything that helped, but I did find this: http://japan.blognhanh.com/2011/09/folks-all-riled-up-over-company-named.html
Is this something you are aware of?
FishHawk,
Yup, that'd be the SU and yup, I knew about the Japan blog thingy, too.
It's sad for those people who have made the fancy pages but to be honest I couldn't care less how colourful and sparkly their profiles are, I'm more interested in the content they share. Which, as far as I'm aware, won't be affected by the changes. For the guys who do leave and move to Tumblr, I will welcome them on my account over there which I've had for 2 years.
Don't put all your eggs in one basket, now where'd I put that lotion?
Ryan,
Agree on content vs glitter; pretty much the same in my camp, but, not everyone thinks the same as us.
We're bloggers and Google was kind enough to give us the blogs we post on for free.
Imagine how it'd feel if all of a sudden Blogger just took a few features away. Ouchie !
SU? Is that anything like FU? with everyone so upset, U'd be forgiven for thinking so...
Doc,
Fu Champuru?
