This photo was taken last night at a tourist attraction called Manzamo in Okinawa, Japan. We really don't have any elephants native to the Ryukyu Islands. People with imaginations a whole lot sharper than mine call the rock formation in the left third of the frame, "The Elephant's Nose". Do you see the elephant ?

Have a look at photos of wildlife, festivals and travel sites here. Sharing tips for travelers with a twist of humor is part the life I enjoy in Okinawa, Japan. Yes, I see the elephant! Great shot of the sunbeams!
FishHawk,
Thanks. Sometimes I have to go where humans ain't supposed to be to catch a shot like this. On the wrong side of the fence, I was more focused on not falling off the cliff than I was on the elephant. Think I'll bring a safety line and weed whacker next time!
