When I hear from my friends in the Land Down Under that it's freezing then, from the folks in Thailand and Europe and sometimes, even in Florida that it's sweltering hot, I have to ask them a question.
Like don't you have any caves nearby that you can crawl into ?
I'm not going to lie. I can't remember the exact degrees. But, down inside Gyokusendo Cave in Okinawa, Japan the temperature is almost constant. It feels cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
So, everybody should quit complaining and go back to living in caves. Dontcha think ?

HaHa Mike....great shot. Actually, another HOT day here in Thailand...I love it. Had a foot massage and then it was off to the pool! No caves for this girl!!!
LadyE,
Well it's good to hear ya back on this end of the world.
Foot massage and pool, no caves !
What kinda travel is that ?
Yeah - it should be cold in Oz at the moment, but it's a beautiful 19 degrees and a wonderful winter's day. Go figure.
AdelaideBen,
Sounds a bit cool, to me. We're having temps in the 30's but, I like it that way!
Caves kinda freak me out as I am little claustrophobic ... but I love your shot! Seems like a cool thing to do. :)
If I remember right, your cave temperature should be somewhere in the 60's(F). I am being too lazy to look it up at the moment. In regards to our local temperatures the past several days, when I went to convert them into Celsius, I came up with 310 degrees (K). I think I may have missed carrying a 2 or 3 somewhere.
Yabba dabba doo
WILMA!!!!!!
Ryan,
Who'd have ever thought ye be a Flintstones fan?
Adelaide and Cherries,
To get cool with the temps in the 300 degree range I think I'd get rid of the claustrobic stuff and crawl in any old place that's cooler !
