The Sakura (桜) or, Cherry Blossoms, if you prefer, seem a little bit late this year.
Keep your eyes open. Watch the birds.
And watch the bees.
The Sakura (桜) on Okinawa don't necessarily follow anybody's matsuri (festival) schedule.
Weather Guru tells me that will happen right after the start of the Chinese New Year.
Expect the hills in the north of Okinawa to burst out in pink and red with Cherry Blossoms
