A September Scene at Tachigaa Waterfall in Okinawa, Japan

This photo of Tachigaa Waterfall was taken late afternoon on September 1, 2012.

Going back to photograph waterfalls at different times of the year can be fun.

The last time I visited Tachigaa the water didn't look deep enough for swimming.

Recent typhoon rains gave the place a little boost and filled the waterhole up.

And, that couple seemed to be enjoying swimming under the falls.

September is probably the best month of the year for going there to swim.

February, I'd say, is the best time to go if you want to meet an angry caterpillar !

How cool! I want to visit that waterfall. I had one of those caterpillars on my balcony last summer and photographed it too. He wasn't an angry one though, I must have got a mellow one!
