Today, somewhere on the Motobu Peninsula we came across these characters.
Dozens of photos were taken, from both sides of a road running, alongside a river bank.
This photo I'm posting just to give an idea of the sizes, shapes and colors they come in.
In English they are called Croton Plants. Codiaeum varigatum would be the scientific name.
There are plenty more I'll be posting if things ever slow down around here.
