Typhoon Danas Blew Through Okinawa
The surf kicks up a bit, before a typhoon strikes and, some people love it.
Adventurous surfers grab their boards and hit choice locations along the coast.
This isn't something a novice traveler should try; it can be dangerous.
If you got with a group of locals or, were on a surfing tour, that might be a different story.
For example, while I was taking this photo, I met a local surfer girl.
We made some small talk.
She said, she forgot to bring her surfboard.
I didn't forget my camera.
It started to rain.
So, I said, "Goodbye."
